POSITION DESCRIPTION
OPPORTUNITY
Less than two weeks after the COVID pandemic hit the State of Connecticut, 4-CT was created to mobilize philanthropic support and provide rapid relief to Connecticut’s most vulnerable residents and the frontline nonprofits serving them. In partnership with the State of Connecticut as well as Community Foundations, Community Health Centers and Community Based Organizations across the State, 4-CT distributed and facilitated almost $20 million in grants and direct aid in its first year. 4-CT is a private, nonprofit organization and governed by an active, engaged board who sees opportunities for the organization to grow in its efforts to offer strategic solutions focused on socially vulnerable communities across the State.
4-CT is seeking to hire an entrepreneurial leader who can build on its strong initial success and position the organization as a connector among the philanthropic, public, and social sectors. S/he will be instrumental in developing the organization’s first strategic plan and will lead 4-CT into its next period of growth and impact. S/he will manage a team of four staff members in a virtual environment. The successful candidate will be a proven coalition builder with a passion for providing quick support to Connecticut’s most vulnerable residents.
